About the Project

A new urban district

In Court-Saint-Étienne (Belgium), Equilis is transforming the former Henricot industrial site into Court Village, a new urban district combining housing, local commerce, a nursery, services and public spaces along the river Dyle. Close to the train station, conceived as a connected and inclusive neighborhood, Court Village illustrates Equilis’ long-term vision: to turn underused sites into meaningful, people-centered places that contribute to the life and identity of their towns.

Key Highlights

Transformation of a historic brownfield into a vibrant mixed-use quarter at the heart of Walloon Brabant

  • Combination of housing, shops, and community spaces designed to support local life.
  • High-performance residential buildings (energy classes A to A+) ensuring comfort and efficiency.
  • Green corridors, walkways, and public areas promoting soft mobility and interaction.
  • A concrete example of Equilis’ capacity to lead large-scale urban transformations, combining architectural quality, technical expertise, and local engagement.
