A new residential district surrounded by nature
In Bouge (Belgium), Equilis is transforming the former Dubail industrial site into a new residential district surrounded by nature. On the 7-hectare site, the project combines urban renewal and environmental restoration to create a living environment structured around a wooded area and a public park, seamlessly connected to the town of Namur.
Key Highlights
- Complete rehabilitation of a polluted brownfield, including soil decontamination and land restoration to its natural level.
- Reurbanisation of the site through shared streets, soft mobility routes and limited car traffic, creating a calm and connected neighbourhood.
- Development articulated around the existing woodland and a public park covering 10% of the site’s surface, ensuring biodiversity and quality of life.
