About the Project

Nestled near the train station and framed by green spaces

In Marbehan (Belgium), Equilis is converting a brownfield into Prim’Vert, a residential quarter designed to blend nature, social life, and mobility. Nestled near the train station and framed by green spaces, the project aims to become a park-inhabited neighborhood — a place where shared gardens, walkways, and thoughtful design bring people closer to their surroundings and to one another.

Key Highlights

Mixed typologies to foster social diversity

  • Rehabilitation of a 3.7-hectare brownfield site into a cohesive living environment in partnership with IDELUX.
  • Emphasis on soft mobility: the railway station is just steps away, and internal design prioritizes walking and cycling over vehicle transit.
  • Biodiversity and water sensitivity are embedded: retention of existing trees, landscaped promenades, rainwater management via basins and swales.
  • Mixed typologies to foster social diversity: apartments, houses, and spaces for communal life.
  • A demonstration of Equilis’ capability in urban regeneration, combining environmental requalification, technical execution, and coherent neighborhood vision.
