Retail

Big choice, easy access

In Gorzów Wielkopolski (Poland), Equilis — in partnership with Acteeum Group — developed Silwana Retail Park, renamed to BIG Gorzow, the largest retail destination in the Lubuskie region.

Delivered in 2024 and sold prior to its opening to BIG Polska, this project illustrates Equilis’ expertise in structuring, developing and delivering large-scale, sustainable retail assets. Built on an 8-hectare site, BIG Gorzow sets a new benchmark in regional retail with its focus on accessibility, environmental innovation and long-term community integration.

Key highlights

25,000 m² of GLA across 40 retail units, anchored by major national and international brands such as Decathlon, Jula and HalfPrice.

  • BREEAM “Excellent”: one of only ten retail buildings in Poland developed at this level of certification, confirming the project’s high sustainability standards.
  • HPD “Very Good” rating: with top performance in Energy, Water and Mobility pillars: photovoltaic panels covering 90% of common energy needs, retention tanks for rainwater reuse, and integrated cycling infrastructure
  • Environmental synergies: reuse of rainwater for sanitary installations, natural infiltration basins, and optimized materials aligned with Equilis’ “Materials & Waste” pillar
  • Environmental resilience through material optimization, infiltration basins and rainwater management supporting long-term resource efficiency.
  • Strong investor confidence: conceived, developed and transferred under optimal conditions, reflecting Equilis’ consistent ability to deliver value-creating and future-proof retail projects.
