About the Project

A residential district that restores the dialogue between people and nature

In Braine-l’Alleud (Belgium), Terra Nostra embodies Equilis’ vision of a residential district that restores the dialogue between people and nature. Composed of elegant low-rise apartment buildings set in a landscaped park, the project extends the city’s green network while offering residents a serene living environment. Its identity is shaped by the Miyawaki urban forest, a participatory initiative bringing together residents, volunteers and partners to plant 10,000 native trees — turning the site into a living ecosystem where biodiversity and community grow side by side.

"A cocoon of tranquility in a green environment,
close to everything"
