Located on the outskirts of the centre of Namur, the La Sablière site is set in peaceful surroundings, the last transition between the centre of Bouge and the agricultural landscape to the east. The district will provide an environment conducive to encounters with others and with nature, with nearly 10% of its area devoted to public green spaces.

 

This project offers quality living spaces on a human scale. All accommodation has been the subject of a wide reflection on the layout of the interior and exterior spaces and their contribution of natural light as well as their flexibility. Offering superior energy performance, the project was also accompanied by attention to building materials.

 

Taking advantage of its immediate proximity to the many amenities of Bouge and Namur, the La Sablière site has been developed with particular attention to soft mobility. This is expressed through shared roads and cycle-pedestrian paths that link the entire site and connect La Sablière to the existing infrastructure.

This new district with a strong identity will stimulate community life through spaces for play, meeting and relaxation open to the environment and linked to the neighbourhood.

 

La Sablière will accommodate 210 housing units including 106 houses and 104 apartments, which will benefit, among other things, from a large market gardening area, a fencing hall and relaxation activities, a central commercial area and an office or service area, so many infrastructures that will actively participate in the quality and dynamics of the district and its surroundings.
